Yes but too often we teach students "statistics" as opposed to "statistical analysis".

I think this is too complex a topic to have such a simplistic question. I think the electorate needs regular political programming that educates on various topics in the most objective manner possible, which may not be a realistic expectation.

Economics, but only because of a single principle: opportunity cost.

And even though a lot of bad takes follow from bad statistics, I struggle to come up with an instance where the best counter arguments use statistics. Only nerds think statistics are awesome, but not for its ability to convey information accurately and effectively.

I voted statistics, I think it's the most advanced of all these, I'm not sure poli.sci. or econ really have basic principles, two people can study these deeply for decades and still disagree on nearly everything.

Tough one. I’d say which ever one quickly points out our flawed perceptions and human susceptibility to persuasion, especially on big decisions. Econ, stats and Behavioral Genetics can get there, but I think the easiest path is the last.
