I think that Multiple Intelligences is due to conceptual over broadness rather than p-hacking.
Tbf, Gardner never published any substantial data supporting Multiple Intelligences.

Teaching multiple intelligence along side g-loaded intelligence, IMO, is akin to teaching intelligent design along side evolution. It's there to appease a group that doesn't like the dominant paradigm.
