Why on god's green earth don't more home owners just sell it themselves through Zillow? It's really not that hard, and it saves tens of thousands of dollars.

I thought it was a network effect. To get buyers to show your place it has to be in their system, offering them the % they want. To be willing to avoid seller agent, you have to believe enough buyers will look at your alt ads.

From my experience a lot of home owners are old ppl who dont want stress and are willing to take a big loss on the fee to avoid the process.
