It’s interesting how your mind is so very opened on some things and so very closed on other things. Why should there be rules about what a government building should look like?
Rules about buildings are how citizens can keep miseducated architects from ruining our cities.

This is disingenuous. The architectural styles of the past fifty years have been imposed on us by a minority of sponsored architects. They used the language of relativism, too, and proved it as a blunt instrument for imposing personal preferences. What a farce.
