I've noticed similarities on some of the people I follow from the UK. They aren't quite conservative, but Labour has gone so far left they feel isolated. Conservatives/moderates are more than happy to accommodate them.

I don't really care how you vote if you're humble enough to consider the possibility that you could be wrong. Entrenchment is not good.

A lot of my political leanings come from the simple fact that I don’t like being nagged. In the past the moral busy bodies used to be on the right so I voted against them. Now they’re on the left so I’m doing the same. The GOP’s the big tent party now. Welcome!

There's nothing impressive about Republicans "warmly" trying to increase their numbers by enticing a wobbly Democrat.

The replies show what one would expect: people voted for an authoritarian strongman because he appealed to them on an emotional level. They rationalize his authoritarianism and obvious insanity because it makes him an effective wrecking ball. There is absolutely nothing new here.

It's difficult to tell what
@primalpoly's reasoning is, given that the label that he uses (i.e. "last few weeks") is rather vague. - 1 more reply
