  Thanks to many academics like yourself, @BretWeinstein & @jordanbpeterson and many others- I’m hopeful that things are changing. I’m no academic. But outsiders like me appreciate those who challenge the corrupt dogmatic priesthood that is damaging our institutions.

  It's not just that. Even if one has tenure, one wants graduate students to do grunt work, grant funding to pay them, other resources to work with, cooperation with colleagues etc. All these are liable to be disrupted badly if one suddenly starts voicing risky/heretical opinions.
