Believe it or not, I've been a registered Democrat for decades, ever since college.
Gotta say, the last few weeks have made me rethink things. @DNC no longer seems the natural home for classical liberal centrists like me.

Thanks to everyone for your constructive & thoughtful replies! I had no idea this tweet would get this level of attention. But I suspect there are millions more long-term registered Democrats like me who are profoundly alienated from the @DNC's delusional behavior.

This resonates. I’ve been a Democrat most of my life, and I can’t vote for Trump, but I feel more politically homeless everyday.

We understand President Trump isn't perfect. There are things he says I wish he wouldn't, but that being said, the progress he's managed to achieve in 3 short years far out ways those concerns. I hope you'll reconsider.
