I went from atheist to agnostic because of the Simulation Hypothesis. Which was kind of a big change, given I'd been doing evolutionary psychology research for over 30 years.

I’ve had the same thought. I think the probability of the simulation theory’s truth is pretty close to that of the existence of God. Simulation kind of kicks the metaphysical can down the road though
