Is Watchmen any good? I'm considering watching it, but I'm worried by the critics/audience gap, which is usually a very bad sign. Before you answer that question please keep in mind that I have impeccable taste.pic.twitter.com/ObPyHDbxkP

Watchmen TV series is a craven, tedious betrayal of everything that made the graphic novel great.

Lol, people seem to have very different opinions on this, but this probably means I should judge for myself. I didn't read the graphic novel, so it might help.

You definitely didn't read the graphic novel. Or if you read it you didn't understand it*. *NOTE: Rorschach is not a good guy.

The graphic novel is an immaculate, peerless masterpiece & and the extended director's cut version of the Zach Snyder film was good but this series is something to avoid.

The giant squid in the graphic novel Watchmen was utterly stupid, a lazy plot device crammed in there, but the pictures were cool. The film ditched it and it was a coherent story. The TV series keeps it, which is also okay, because fiction can do whatever the hell it wants.
