the newspaper isn't embracing this position. any more than nyt embraces all the op-eds it runs.
The Guardian had repeatedly published anti-natalist, pro-extinction articles. It's a consistent theme. It's their endgame.

If someone believes the economy is terminal, but lacks a plausible model of how to change that, advocacy for voluntary population de-growth sort of makes sense as an act of desperation / protest. What they need is not moral censure, but a new, plausible economic model.
