While Geoffrey has some blind spots that I find annoying, my hunch is that his book will not fall for the trope that the left is somehow more addicted to virtue signaling than the right or that it is a new phenomenon. Probably a good read. I'm tempted.

Oh yeah. I just read the first sentences of his preface. Now I'm afraid he's saying that just to justify the reason he needs to reveal something especially troubling about the left. I hate that faction of far left, postmodern and trite. But... it's the same everywhere.
