Few years ago, went for a 3am stroll on Xmas Eve. Sat in a bus shelter to take in the stillness of the night. Felt someone staring at me. Looked up & locked eyes with a coyote who'd come out of the woods. Looked away for a split second (to show I was no threat) and he'd vanished.
