Why do you think big families are a good thing? What counts as big, > 3 kids?

I'd ask the opposite, why does a big family matter so much?

It’s possible. It takes discipline and abandoning the idea that everything must be perfect. The discipline is the biggest part. Single income home, stay at home wife, six kids. It’s very possible.

I think several things would have to come together. First a willingness for parents to stop being helicopter parents. Second AI robot nannies and self driving cars.

Very little. But it's easy not to notice that until it's too late.

Why would anyone want to have a big family?

Half the working age population produces more profit, GDP and tax revenue when they aren't on maternity leave/stay at home parents

Saw a tweet where a girl's grandfather put having kids this way: as you get older you can be surrounded by death(as ur friends, etc die) or you could be surrounded by life(kids, grandkids, etc). But worded better. Makes a family more desirable to me.
