Superman (and, to a more general extent, all superpowered heroes) are fantastic because they teach us the solutions ot our problems aren't bottlenecked by the lack of physical powers. Or even just mental ones.

Superman isn't supposed to be "relatable", he's supposed to inspire us to be better. It makes him hard to write for but the good Superman stories are REALLY good for that reason. He'd still lose in a fight with Goku though
