So many politicians acting outraged by 'quid pro quo' when they spend half their waking lives meeting with lobbyists & campaign contributors.

Quid pro quo is politics. I'll vote for your cut if you back my bill. The problem is when you do it for personal gain. Then it's bribery or extortion.
