Not within Christianity, for we believe that salvation from hellfire is a free gift, grace through faith, not of works, that anyone might boast.
But how can one be 100% _certain_ of salvation??? That's the terrifying part. What if the real 'God' is Allah or Shiva rather than the Christian God?
From a former atheist, you just know. This is probably unorthodox, but from my own experience, salvation is more like a weapon against the suffering of living in the world.
