I’m a Professor at a university of 30,000+ students and not 1 person in my 20+ faculty department is liberal. They are all either Libertarians or Republican. But I’ve actually noticed the incoming freshman class is starting to lean back towards the right politically. Hope.
I'm curious too. I've heard from other professors that Humanities were the first to fall, but lately I'm hearing from professors under fire even in Engineering & Sciences. Local university administration trying to purge the old school ranks & replace them.
