Do you believe gambling addiction is real?
Scientists have studied 'porn addiction' pretty extensively, and it doesn't qualify as an 'addiction' by any reasonable standards. It's a pseudo-diagnosis that drives nice profits for of 'sex addiction treatment centers'.

Addiction = when you want to stop doing something but can't due to failing of will power. No one cares about your esoteric definition.

This. These people have a vested interest in very narrowly defining addiction only when it comes to porn/masturbation/sex. If someone can get addicted to gambling they can sure as hell get addicted to porn.
