      PS given the diversity of IQ, mental health, education, & information among adults, I'd love to hear a _principled_ argument for a minimum voting age. Why should a smart, well-informed 16-year-old not be able to vote when every delusional middle-aged Twitter troll can?

      For the same reasons they can't (and shouldn't be able to) consent to nor do a lot of other things... And vast majority of them have no 'skin in the game' in terms of paying taxes, owning property, having dependents, etc.
