Age limits are arbitrary but not discriminatory, the way gender/race limits were. Everyone gets their chance at the same age: 16 year olds will be 18, & (most of them) 80 one day. The key is consistency - not changing the age limit to swing the result of a particular vote ;)
Age limits are entirely, 100% discriminatory with respect to age.
