Does anyone have experience working as a psychologist in a non psychology department? What are the pros/cons? I see an ad for a prof position that sounds interesting but I can imagine it could be isolating. #AcademicTwitter #AcademicChatter
I'm a psych PhD who worked four years in an economics dept. It was pretty alienating tbh. Psych is often undervalued by other fields, esp the more arrogant fields that don't value empirical behavioral data as much.
