Yes, by definition. However, it is absolutely not a sign that the action should be banned by law.
Why 'by definition'? No serious moral philosophy in history has ever accepted moral disgust as a dispositive sign of actual immorality.

I'm a utilitarian, which I suppose is the a version of 'moral realism', i.e. taking other sentient beings seriously.

By definition of subjective morals. Actually all philosophies that do not agree with a "law of nature" have subjectivity as the only test for morals (epicureism for ex)
