Overall, more than 5,000 subjects from 36 samples met our criteria. They cover more than 40 years of research from various countries. Two third of the subjects were women. Most of the data was never published before in a peer-reviewed journal. 5/10

Well, the cultural hypothesis is my own lived experience so it would be impossible to 'prove' it false

OK, I respect and don't question your experience, but in order to get to a more generalized truth we need the scientific method. Just as if you were 7 feet tall, you wouldn't say that women are taller than men.

also, it is technically impossible to 'prove' a cultural hypothesis to be false. culture doesn't work like that.

We don't use proofs in science. The evidence either support or refutes certain theories and hypotheses.

And the existence of your study reinforces the cultural hypothesis- ie wld you be comfortable conducting a study into "are Jews really miserly?" or "are the Irish really stupid?" Or whatever

Why do think the study purport that women are inferior in some way? I think it shows how women make smart mating decisions, part of mutual mate choice.
