I gather from the replies to this that most people lack the emotional maturity to handle even a longterm monogamous relationship, let alone a non-monogamous marriage. The knee-jerk "OMG CUCK!!!1" reaction without reading this demonstrates widespread relationship insecurity.
Yeah. A lot of these replies are really heartbreaking. People are hurting, and frustrated, and are not being well served by the existing mating market with its confused absence of clear social norms or ethics.

It seems to me that sexual emotional angst of Millennials/Z is due more to online shaming of 'social justice', constant virtue judging by social media, and being taught that confidence, fact, and individual thought is bad. No wonder they're insecure and looking for ecape routes.

I used to struggle with relationship insecurity and jealousy myself. It just took a lot of time/age and relationship experience to sort those things out. There's no way I could have had a functional poly relationship 10 years ago, while I'm certain I could now.

Seems very reasonable, with time and maturity many of the arguments against it go away. But in the period before that, it isn't just your own emotional baggage that limits things its the combined effect of those feelings that everyone involved directly and indirectly with you.
