One more Q, if I may? Is there much interest in the poly community for "plural marriages"? The moral arguments on that will be fascinating. As for communal child-rearing, it has been practiced in some pre-industrial societies but I would be reluctant to map them onto modern ones.

I see very little interest in legalizing plural marriage in poly culture -- it just seems way too complicated in terms of contractual agreements. But I could be wrong, and things could change.
