Brett Kavanaugh: *has a beer* Media: TAKE. HIM. DOWN. Katie Hill: Does drugs, has multiple inappropriate sexual relationships with employees, posts exhibitionist pictures on Reddit, does "wifesharing," etc. etc. Media: She's living her best life, give her some privacy.
The inappropriate relationships are inappropriate. But other than that, are you upset that she's exercising too many of her freedoms as an American woman all at the same time? Has she exceeded her freedom quota?
I’m pointing out the media’s double standard. She’s free to do what she does, but she shouldn’t abuse the power of her position to initiate sexual relationships with her employees.
Her constituents should know what she does too. I wouldn’t vote for someone who posted nudes on a swingers site, if for no other reason than blackmail risk.
Don't her voters have the freedom to know who they are voting for? It doesn't mean they won't vote for her but I remember when Jerri Ryan and her husbands swing lifestyle came out and he had to drop out of the Illinois Senate race handing it to a never heard of Barak Obama.
She also a drunk unable to fulfill her obligations as a law maker in Congress . Her life full of self indulging gets in the way of public responsibilities
I completely support her right to exercise her freedoms. It's the double standards that gets me.

If I read him correctly, he's not upset about the things she's doing. Ian's pretty tolerant. He's just pointing out the hypocrisy of the media. They're permissive when it comes to their political allies, but judge opponents with puritanical furor. Double standards, etc.
