"Dismiss" feels like an obfuscative word. I believe there is ample reason and evidence to largely consider the social sciences to be charlatanism, pseudo-science, and an unofficial left-wing think tank. Does that mean I'll dismiss every piece of research ever produced? No.
Fair point. Even fields dominated by delusional, empirically false metatheories (e.g. 'grievance studies') can still include observational & ethnographic research that includes useful insights.
