That humanitarian intervention in Libya worked out real well. I'm sure the women and children being sold in open slave markets and whose lives are controlled by ISIS, things that didn't exist under human rights abusing Gaddafi, think it was a great success.

Any system that could be effective on an international level will be veto'd by most states. Populations cant risk civil war over this, considering how protests in the west are treated I would wager that serious prolonged protests are now dangerous by themselves to even do.

Voting seems to do exactly nothing. We can take our business elsewhere, but to where? Most western countries are the biggest violaters, so then we should avoid them? I dont see solutions that dont involve sheer destructive chaos and yet the endgame by doing nothing seems to >><
