"Joker" is an incredibly subversive film. I'm shocked Hollywood could come out with something so radical. The people who fear it are right to fear it.

It seems to me that the main driver of Joker’s devolution was that he went off his meds. Any perceived social justice issues were irrelevant to him. Poor and rich alike treated him like crap. His free mental health care was crappy, not a ringing endorsement of “Medicare for All”.
