Different take. They pay their employees almost double the going rate for their skill level and save Americans billions per year by keeping prices low. Suppliers voluntarily enter into mutually beneficial high volume deals. Oh, and their CEO gets lower pay than other comp CEOs

I think more businesses should charge membership. Bookshops could give amazon prices but for a £50 annual friends of the shop fee. I’d join.

Costco supplier here. I promise we are not exploited lol. They mark up 15% max. Our limitation with them is the perishability of our product and the fact they do not have many stores compared to the rest of our portfolio. Would love to expand with them tho.
