It's righteous to support mega corp? Wouldn't it be more righteous to support developers in a third world country to create a book review website that becomes more popular?

Like it or not, Amazon sells 70% of books in America. If you're not reviewing your favorite books for Amazon, you're making it harder for other worthy readers to discover them.

Hmm i have a mixed feelings about this, because it's not only helping the readers - it also vastly helps amazon that uses the reviews as its own property. Feels like doing unpaid work for a some tax avoiding huge corporation.

...but please God do not give a book four or five stars just because you don't have a lot to compare it to. How many books have an average of 2 or 3 stars on Amazon? I don't know if I've ever seen one. I've certainly read a few, however.
