Wait, is there any actual reward or just that you feel good about that perception?

Yes, or in reverse order. Warren is the candidate of elite technocracy, someone you vote for if you think an election can suddenly make it 2015 again and that 2015 was fine. Gabbard and Yang are younger and open to different ideas, and Gabbard actually cares about foreign policy.

Yep, not touching a ticket with Warren with a 10 foot pole, but Gabbard/Yang? I’d think about it. Probably still vote LNP but I’d think about it.

How does Yang help Warren beat Trump? And why would Yang run alongside Warren when she wants to create new entitlements, and he wants to replace the existing welfare state with UBI?

The real risk/reward VP pick is a Republican like Mitt Romney. Or Bob Corker. I don’t think they’d sign on to the Warren agenda, but maybe Biden’s. If Warren gets the nomination, she will pick a black VP, because her inability to energize black voters is a big weakness.
