That is so true. I go to the Graduate Center in NYC. I've only seen pics of the old interior of the building. It was spectacular. All that is left is a staircase and elevator of the former building. The renovations are repulsive. School today:pic.twitter.com/EiX0MaoZfE

My school had a mix of modern and old science labs and while both were equally functional, I honestly preferred the feel of old lab designs. Actually, they had bigger tables for working on as well.
