They may be allowed to block those who did not bother to vote at all. But the real thing would be to get rid of blocking entirely. Muting, ok. But not blocking. Blocking is evil.

Blocking is the most important thing about Twitter. Without it, serious conversations about controversial topics would be utterly impossible.

Twitter should give an option just to prevent from commenting. Default should be of limited duration. Too many people use blocking as an argument or punishment. I hate that I can't read

I can't imagine giving a crap if they do. It's not a public forum, not really.

It is though. Twitter, FB, YouTube, IG, these are de-facto public forums; vastly more public than any city, any physical geographic location place on earth.
