Oh please you two. She's not addressing feelings, plain and simple. Her therapist is challenging her use of defense mechanisms like rationalizing/intellectualizing. You can be as rational as you want and also focus your therapy dialogue on emotional states.
Maybe. But most therapists have no idea how to do therapy with a person who takes their rationality seriously.

Couldn't agree more Geoffrey. A significant percentage of people in my profession are unskilled for working with hyper rational folks. I mean...most in my profession are mediocre...sometimes I am too.
