Is it unethical for higher education instructors (HEIs [professors, lecturers, etc.]) to make their political views obvious to their students?
I think we have a duty to be upfront about political views if they're potentially relevant to class content, and also a duty to try to counter-act our own biases and assumptions.

Or at least present most popular opinions on a political subject so that students may develop what they believe. Also avoids alienating students. I try to only provide my pov if they ask.
