Of all the ways to lament the cruel nature of the universe, the suffering of chickens is an odd one.
We torment and kill 9 billion chickens a year in the US. It's not a small issue in terms of net suffering.

And if all chicken suffering ended tomorrow, not much else would improve. Thus the ‘weight’ of your argument is low for this priority.

And if all suffering in Country A ended tomorrow, not much would improve in other countries that aren't Country A. So what? Every sentient life matters.
