How is quantifying things based on the best evidence you can 'subjective'? It's the exact opposite of subjective.
So do you ask the cows for their pain score (1-10) and tabulate the data across the cows and then do the same with the chickens? Just because you can put a number on it doesn’t make it objective data.
You’re basing suffering on consciousness. Cows are mammals. Stronger connection to fewer offspring, which are removed from them at birth repeatedly. Also, they’re milked all day, which causes chronic physical pain. It’s all bad.
