Saudi Arabia exports oil to other countries, not USA. But it is sold in dollars, which strengthens this currency. That is the key.

Until Americans understand that ionizing radiation is not a magical curse, but something that can be quantified and managed, not too likely. We do a terrible job recognizing our opportunity costs for rejecting nuclear, or understanding what benefits a Gen 4 reactor might get us.

USA is now effectively energy independent since the shale revolution. I think we would be in the same spot now even if we had more nuclear plants.
