Pure Rock charisma. Only person who is in Denzel’s league. I’d watch Denzel in a show about badminton—and I’d love it.
TBH I would rather watch this forest grow than watch an NFL sportball game. And yet, I find @BallersHBO more entertaining than almost any other TV series. Why?

Ballers is willing to show us men behaving badly without declaring them to categorically be Evil. Sometimes, regular people make bad choices. It's okay to root for people who sometimes make bad decisions. Being a fuck-up is a temporary state that can be corrected with effort.

also, lots of absurdly charismatic people on that show. don't know if the acting is good, but they're very likable. I guess that's dwayne johnson's trademark.
