Yeah that is interesting, I didn’t know about that. I looked up the passage and taken as a whole it could be seen as a scriptural basis for ruling out reincarnation (what else could it mean?). I think there’s a case that both are compatible with Christianity as a whole.

Scripture aside, the Church has taught for centuries that you die, you get judged, you go to Heaven or Hell, period. Or does your soul split in two, and half gets reincarnated, and then half of that after the next death gets reincarnated again..... ? Makes no sense whatsoever.
