One thing I've learned this year: The fundamental political divide isn't Left versus Right. It's anti-natalists versus pronatalists.

Bad take professor, David Benatar explicitly states that he would never advocate politically for his philosophy (antinatalism) and in fact would actively oppose attempts to do so since they would be gross infringements on individual liberty.

Agreed that it's not Left vs. Right, but I tend to agree with JS Mill--it's Authority vs. Liberty. IMO, the current spat is a civil war among Authoritarians of differing stripes.
