Seems to validate
@jollyheretic thesis. If mutational load has such detrimental impact, by almost eliminating infant & young adult mortality which removed many mutations, industrial revolution is making us dumber. Tweeting by blue checkmark provides further evidence of idiocracy. -
Non seq. Infant survival largely unaffected by infant IQ. Far larger effect is negative correlations between family size and IQ in women

What of antagonistic pleiotropy? Sorry I haven't read the papers. Ignore me if it's answered there. Outside drift toward the center, and straining at the limits, could there not also be direct selection against intelligence, sexual or otherwise?
