Not to mention a requirement for nearly all majors, because it counts as a humanities course. For health professionals, at least 2 semesters of psychology classes are required.

There's plenty of recent, interesting social psyc. research. But I get that it is easier to just dunk on older research and ignore the advances. Particularly when you benefit from politicizing everything.
