Going fishing with otters would have been neat, and homing-mooses would be far more useful than Amazon drones for deliveries in forested landscapes.

Otters are a perfect fit. Intelligent, sociable and can help us out. In fact, they seem like such a good fit I want to say some humans somewhere have probably tried to tame them at some point. Maybe there's a reason why it doesn't work out that isn't immediately obvious.
