PS I worked for years on genetic algorithm simulations of natural selection and sexual selection. Evolution is incredibly creative and ingenious, always full of surprises. Don't underestimate her.

If you have time I’d love a reading recommendation on the mathematical probability of evolution. I am just a layman but galactic odds required to make a sequence of compounding mutations add up to my brain seems beyond my miraculous brain power.
