If college were an IQ signal we'd just use SAT scores instead. Or one year of college instead of four.
But the Supreme Court decision in Griggs v. Duke Power Co., 401 U.S. 424 (1971) would prohibit the use of raw IQ or SAT scores in corporate hiring....

But not various other tests that would correlate with IQ, e.g. math, reading comprehension.... A former employer uses these and personality tests in hiring.
