Create a bitcoin like immutable ledger for all public communication between nation states and private ledgers for parties with common interests. Ignore the rest. Most likely net positive as will kill off cable news and such

Think about it. Even if your your political opponents acknowledge these are fake, just putting the image of somerhing bad or compromising out there could be enough to sway an election.
