Huh. Well, damn, that’s kinda silly. Gotta love Twitter!
P.s. people whose muscles are bigger also tend to be stronger. But don’t tell. -
Most of the brain controls bodily functions though, not higher reasoning. That's why a blue whale's brain is much bigger than yours--a bigger organism needs a bigger brain. Even within the human species, physical size predicts brain size better than intelligence does.

Brain size is moderately associated with intelligence in *men only*, as a consequence of GM surface area. In women, intelligence is associated with WM *conectivity* rather than volume. This is another example of how correlation misleads.https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.1002/per.2217 …

it is novel to me that anyone over the age of 5 would fail to understand why it is controversial to claim causal links between race or head shape and IQ in this day and age

Did they publish an article relating brain size to IQ or head shape to IQ? I mean, the whole thing is silly and pointless — but anyone making claims based on head shape is nuts. Even so, I’m having trouble seeing that as a cause for outrage. I guess we’ve all got our buttons.
