Neither the retraction nor Claire's statement mention that the site's editors added their own fabrications to the article.
What about the ideological embellishment that Quillette added to the story, seperate from it being fabricated? I think that's a major issue
I’m curious about the nature of the hoax. Just a whole cloth lie? Any sense of a motive?
